So, i'm proposing a reshifting of certain dates on this timeline for a couple of reasons:
1. Moving X-Men and X2 to 2005. Â We know they happen in the same year (it would not take too much time Wolverine to drive from New York to Alkali Lake in Canada back to New York) and there doesn't seem to be a lot of time in between X2 and The Last Stand (which we know happened in 2006)
2. Has to do with #1: Moving the main events of X-Men Origins: Wolverine to 1990. Â We know it's been 15 years since Wolvie lost his memory, and if X-Men takes place in 2005, then the Weapon X program took place in '90. Â The technology seen during a majority of the movie is just too far advanced for the 70's. Â Subtract six years from that you get 1984: when Logan left Team X. Â The Wolverine Declassified tumblr account says Logan and Victor were fighting in Vietnam and recruited by Stryker in 1974, a year after we saw him in Days of Future Past. Â Stryker is still a Major in both films, so clearly not much time has passed and he doesn't recognise Wolverine in DoFP. Â Since we know Team X were close friends and knew each other well, they must have known each other for ten years. Â I propose:
1974- Logan and Victor Creed recruited by Major William Stryker from Vietnam
1984- Logan leaves Team X
1990- Weapon X program and major events of X-Men Origins: Wolverine
In the case of the real Three Mile Island incident, Gambit mentions that no one is going to go around snooping around nuclear reactors, they think they'll turn them into freaks. Â This would only make sense if the Three Mile Island incident in '79 already happened, and everyone in the surrounding area is already afraid of going around there (just to spitball a fan theory: the meltdown was a coverup by Stryker to get people away from the reactor during his experiments)
Thoughts?
