what I mean is that some of the extended scenes had a good affect like the Rogue rescue, I thought that was intense and it gives the X-men more motivation to succeed because of Bobby dying during the rescue. it gives a better explanation of how the sentienels found them. the scene where Mystique shows up at the mansion and the conversation between her and Beast shows that he still thinks mutants will never be expected
Okay, I never saw the Rogue Cut. It came as a surprise with Kitty having mind time travelling ability.
one thing I forgot to mention that Kitty was bleeding out and would have bled to death in real life and that by getting Rogue, they saved her life, well, prolonged it
you make a good point, but hey they needed to add tension
I wouldn't call it a bad movie. It just showed us an alternate version of the film where they had help from one of the older members with the most difficult of powers at their disposal. And the idea of Rogue being alive was quite a shocker. If they do another director's cut, they gotta have another mutant with good powers helping the good guys.
I didn't wanna say this before, I have decided back months ago to not watch the Rogue Cut like ever. I saw once a scene and it was anticlimactic how Bobby was killed. Seriously? At least in the original he sacrificed himself to give them more time.

So, you were impressed by the Rogue Cut?

No. I am glad this was not the original.
