I've been seeing a lot of edits placing "Logan" in its own alternate timeline, so I thought I should clarify the situation.
The Marvel Database classifies "Logan" as being on Earth-17315, but the director of the film has made several statements that confirm "Logan" being a part of the timeline that was created after "X-Men: Days of Future Past".
"It's year 2029 when the movie takes place. There's an epilogue scene in 'Days of Future Past' which is 2024, or 2023, something like that. I just wanted to get far enough past. My goal was real simple: it was to pick a time where I had enough elbow room that I was clear of existing entanglements." - cbr.com/james-mangold-reveals-exactly-when-logan-takes-place
"@Voldemorgoth Don't think @RealHughJackman said that exactly. Simple fact. We take place in 2029, 5 yrs past anything depicted in XMEN film." - screenrant.com/logan-movie-director-x-men-movies-universe-connections
Since James Mangold has more credibility as the film's director, we're going with his word instead of the Marvel Database's. As such, all information pertaining to "Logan" will remain under the revised timeline section.
