I don't know if Magneto's powers affect Carbonadium and Magneto would have to fight him from a distance cause if he gets within range of his coils or Death Factor its over. Omega Red was the Soviets answer to Captain America, where the Red Guardian was costumed counterpart to Cap and had no powers.
