Magneto can control metal, specifically magnetic metal, but how about allows? compounds that contain iron?
Its another form of magnetism... Magneto doesn't control the entire spectrum of magnetism, just the one associated with magnetic metals.
I think in the comics he could control all types of magnetic fields on an atomic level (which would include everything in the universe), but in the movies he could only control metallic magnetic fields (so only ferrous metals).
Isn't light a electromagnetic wave?!?! that means (if he could really control it) he can make illusions and all that!!!
I can't see how electromagnetic waves will do that... he can't control light.
Phoenix can do that
Phoenix's illusions are telepathic illusions meaning she controls others to THINK that something different from reality is there, but the true thing they're seeing is still the same, like blocking out the signal from the eyes and making FAKE signals
I don't think it's only about him being able to manipulate electromagnetic fields, but also the extent to which he can manipulate them. For example, he might be able to move things with electromagnetic fields in general, but maybe he can't actually manipulate them enough to create illusions or anything more complicated like that. Also, maybe certain things with electromagnetic fields, like ferrous metals, are easier for him to manipulate than others.
What do you think?
