A few days in the 70's, one night in the future. The sun never came up in the Sentinel apocalypse did it? So Wolverine was experiencing the past fast.
Batman has fought Superman who also used beams from his eyes, along with other powers like flight, super strength, super speed, freeze breath, x-ray vision, superhearing. Cyclops just has optic blasts which hits with concussive force unlike Superman's heat vision, but that should feel like Batman was punched by Bane. I bet Batman would have upgraded his armor so that Bane can't break his back again. So obviously, Batman can beat Cyclops.
Clearly, I like them enough to write a series of superhero novels expecting movie adaptations out of them.
Quicksilver is much faster than everyone here. He's the one who started the trend of speedsters messing around in frozen time. Sure, Apocalypse was able to break his leg, but only after Peter tossed him around.
What? No Shadowcat, Psylocke or Mystique?
Namor and Ms. Marvel were already mutants in the MCU without any multiversal hopping. Don't see why more mutants couldn't be introduced already living in Earth-199999. Deadpool 3 would be the true finale to the X-Men universe that would be hopefully better than Dark Phoenix and the New Mutants.
You mean when Magneto told them he was their father or the time Wanda's spell didn't work on him because he wasn't her father?
More and more evidence is pointing to it being a multiversal crossover movie with Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner appearing as the Fox versions of Daredevil and Elektra despite the MCU already having their own Daredevil and Elektra played by Charlie Cox and Élodie Yung. And why would it have the three in the title with Ryan Reynolds reprising his role if it wasn't a continuation of our Deadpool? If it was a reboot set in the MCU, it would be marketed as a reboot, not a sequel. We'll probably get a page when a trailer comes out and shows that it starts in the Fox universe.
I have an X-Gene. Well, something in my stories that's so similar to the X-Gene that you might as well call it that (especially since it's only found in X-chromosomes). Anyone born with this gene which is officially called the SuperGene is a mutant called a GeneHuman.
Now, whether I'm a homo superior mutant or a GeneHuman, I'd rather be a GeneHuman because the taxonomic term "homo superior" is just an excuse for people to think of mutants as monsters while "GeneHuman" is short for "Genetic mutant human." So GeneHumans are not so hated outside a couple of hate groups like the Overkillers and many GeneHuman kids have been able to go to school with normal kids without any problems. I always find the mutant discrimination in the Marvel universe ridiculous especially when there are other superpowered people accepted as heroes. Human heroes who got their powers through science and even aliens are treated more fairly.
As for what powers I would have, maybe I could have the same powers as a Kryptonian.
I had the X2 DVD the longest, so I may be biased. Haven't seen Logan yet. First Class had some inconsistencies and didn't show Raven in her natural blue appearance enough. Days of Future Past is a time travel story that doesn't use the Endgame rules like the comics, and they decided to give Kitty Pryde the ability to take people back in time, which had nothing to do with her mutant intangibility powerset. She just took Rachel Summers' role in the story.
@Bryschec Like we haven't had enough of him? Well, it would be great to see Hugh Jackman put on the cowl that his Wolverine always lacked.
As for what character, I would like to see in Fox's X-Men, I would have liked to see Avalanche. Oh, he already had a cameo in The Last Stand? Well, how about Hope Summers? Oh, she's in Deadpool 2? Well, at least we don't have an article on Transonic. We could have another naked blue girl.
Also, I think they should have Scarlet Witch in the Fox universe. She may have had a cameo in Days of Future Past as Quicksilver's little sister, but really, the Maximoff siblings should have been exclusive to Fox's X-Men rights. I really don't understand how Magneto's mutant children falls under the Avengers rights. They may have been Avengers for a long time in the comics, but a lot of Avengers such as Spider-Man had their own franchises that barred them from getting in the MCU for a while, and Wolverine was an Avenger in the comics but Fox had dibs on him. Why did Avengers membership only matter to Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver anyway? Most cartoons put them in X-Men media in the Brotherhood of Mutants. And the MCU is supposed to be made up of the rights Marvel Studios still had or have been reverted back, so how can they share rights of certain characters?
Back on topic, another mutant I would have loved to see in FoX-Men would be Gabriel Summers AKA Vulcan. Does he have powers similar to Superman?
Hugh Jackman was confirmed to be playing Wolverine in Deadpool 3, which is set in the MCU. We don't have an article on Deadpool 3 despite it being the third installment in the Deadpool series with Ryan Reynolds returning. This wiki is clearly focusing on the X-Men movies when they were still owned by Fox.
But it's still a continuity error to have him nothing like how he was from the first movie.
Sure, First Class to Dark Phoenix may have been an alternate timeline, but Origins is canon to the original trilogy's timeline, right?
I don't understand why they didn't base Sabretooth's appearance on Tyler Mane's portrayal from the first movie.
Patrick Stewart reprising his role in Multiverse of Madness should only be noted in the trivia like how Evan Peters' appearance in WandaVision is included in Quicksilver's page. No need to expand on Charles' history or appearances because Multiverse of Madness is not part of Fox's X-Men universe. Earth-838 just has a variant of Charles looking identical to Fox's Charles.
I'm pretty sure Universal had Namor's film rights. They didn't make a movie but their Namor contract was more complicated.
Probably the biggest disappointment is Mr. Sinister getting teased, and him never showing up.
I don't think Northstar was ever in the movies.
Yeah, that would have been an interesting scenario if Dark Phoenix and Captain Marvel both used Skrulls. I'm guessing Fox couldn't use Skrulls because they were tied to the Fantastic Four and that franchise is separate from the X-Men.
I've got a similar discussion about Mutants that Fox never got to use.
But I guess in terms of characters other than mutants, I wish Dark Phoenix had used the Shi'ar instead of the D'bari.
