At what Year and Month in the Rewritten Timeline does The New Mutants movie take place?
Honestly I left it at February 2020 because I don't know what other date to give it, and I can't find any information on the Wiki that gives me any clues
Honest question because I know Laura Kinney(atleast at 1 point as Avengers member in Avengers Academy) was in Marvel comics. Would Marvel-Studios X-23 be part of a team of a merged Young Avengers/Champions or would you put her in an X-Men project in MCU?
Should the x-men be teenagers/young adults or older adults? for me honestly i would prefer to see them (half of first class like Cyclops,, Beast, and Iceman) already adults and Establish as veteran x-men since then would like to have more time to explore them as mentors towards next generations of mutants and see their
bit of a trend, how about we skip the origin of the X-Men/Mutant gene. Jump into the world how mutant society lives among humans. (that's just me). I would like to hear anyones opinions.
The OG X-Men deserve a moment that truly honors their legacy, something that feels epic and emotional. Whether it’s a final battle where they unite for one last mission or a scene that ties their storylines together with the newer generation, it needs to feel impactful. Their return should be more than just nostalgia; it should remind everyone why these characters defined the X-Men for decades.
I just want want marvel to do justice with the James Marsden's Cyclops
Don't get me wrong I am 100% excited for Doomsday, and I do think it will be cool to see the old cast returning. Especially if they get comic accurate costumes which I think seems likely.
That said, does anyone else think Marvel Studios should have introduced a whole version of the X-Men team in a similar way to how they're handling Spider-Man back in 2017? I think anytime between 2022-2024 would have been the best time. For example, Multiverse of Madness could have been a good chance to introduce a new Xavier. Over the last couple months, I have been feeling this would have been the better approach for the mutants in the multiverse saga.
Mainly because I feel it would make sense to introduce a new team early for audiences to become familiarized with before the (likely going to happen) soft-reboot MCU universe merged the X-Men, Fantastic Four into the new timeline alongside with the mainline continuity and history.
Is it a good idea to develop the “X-Men in Training” team as much as the “good” team, and have crossovers with the main team?
I guess the only similarity between these two is they are the “son” of wolverine/Logan
My suggestion for a MCU X-Men Trilogy. I want to introduce new villains and concepts not touched on previous live action projects, that would be visually dynamic, fit into the X-Men themes and build to a 3rd installation big bad showdown. (Note: Marvel feels like using this, since they are your characters and IPs).
Instead of adapting Jim Lee and the 90's TAS lineups, It would focus on the x-men mixer of the remaining first class members as veterans rather than being teenage Cyclops, Icemen, and Beast alongside with Storm, Nightcrawler, Emma, Colossus, Gambit, Rouge, Mirage and Wolverine (that’s lots of characters, yet fans and audiences already know the characters and some of their origins plus with a good script can balance out the members screen time and slightly role).
In the movie's opening scene, Cyclops leads the team on a mission, which quickly goes to success and almost goes wrong. Only they barely escaped at the last second.
Then the main story of the movie begins with Cyclops briefing the team on a recent mission tie-in to secret research discovered from benetech lead by head scientist Dr. Kavita Rao, are secretly sponsored by a backup who’s experimenting on mutants at maximum-security prison to try to find a cure to surpass their abilities.
Shadowcat, overheard everything about attempting to break into the facility to find the existence of this experiment to bring them to X-Men. Unfortunately Kitty got captured by Marauders and sent to one of the facilities. Cyclops and X-Men are now traveling across the world on an another Rescue mission, this time one of the be kidnapping mutants is their own student and investigation who manipulated strange events in this experiment (it's shown leading to battle X-Men and Marauders with U.S government funds to support scientific projects without knowing prison staff true sinister purpose on finding the cure).
Marvel Studios to pay tribute to that every different era of the X-Men into one without having to spend an entire movie on the single era or lineup (which probably wouldn't be a popular choice). This would also clearly distinguish the MCU version from the Fox films, and also pay tribute to the classic mid 90s-late 2000s storyline which was truly impactful for the new phase with the X-Men involvements.
This also establishes X-Men in the manner it avoids doing another superhero origin movie -- of course, it can later be developed into more backstories to fill-in gaps from previous marvel events and characters placed in new universes.
BONUS: Some of the member of the 'new' characters could make their debut in other MCU X-Men films as well being mentors towards the students in this film, same as some of the characters had been introduced prior to New X-Men (04) in the comics (eg. X-23 could be introduced in rumored Academy’s-X Plus series, Wolverine Daughter could be introduced as a future member of the X-Men against many villains they will face in the upcoming events).
I don't think it's necessary for the movies to slavishly follow the comics, but in this case, the basic structure of Astonishing X-Men provides a useful way to tip the hat to both the fan-favorite while also launching the classic, more beloved characters, while also planting the seed for new-era stories down the line.
Thoughts? What are your ideas for X-Men, the first marvel project?

Emma is my favorite X-man and is only followed by Kate so I really hope we get Emma in the MCU after Secret wars. But then the problem of Emma having so many rich comic stories and development is making me not want her to join the MCU if they can’t find a way to twist her stories to fit the MCU. Like: “how does she get her Diamond transformation without Genosha?”
But I’d like to hear everyone else’s ideas on how our White Queen can be added to the MCU, but if she does Kate Pryde should also be there cause of how many stories of them are connected.

The X-Men and rest of X-teams should appear in Marvel Cinematic Universe as they did in the previous versions from comics run to different movies and tv series. As a whole, the New X-Men should have the same roles as they did in their comic counterparts with some inspiration from the X-Men: Evolution, Harry Potter, Heroes, Sky High, Dawson's Creek, Teen Wolf and other media. They are added to make the Xavier Institute seem more populated by having several students in the background, and primarily have supporting roles in movies while acting as lead characters in their own possible streaming series like X-Men: Academy X.

The X-Men have some of the richest and most impactful storylines in Marvel Comics, and with their eventual arrival in the MCU, the possibilities are endless. If you could choose one iconic comic book arc to be adapted in Phase 7, which would it be?
Personally, I’d love to see Astonishing X-Men, Messiah Complex or Schism, with all the emotional depth and complexity they deserve. As for characters, I’m hoping to see my favorites like Storm, Cyclops, Nightcrawler, and Emma First get their time to shine.
What’s your dream X-Men storyline or character for Phase 7?
This would be my choice for an ex first class member. When we get to the inevitable Mutants saga. One thing would be to have it be a true ensemble piece and not the Wolverine saga. Of course Wolverine will be prominent, but the other X-Men members need to promise roles as well, leading the X-Men series into a new era.
Jonah Hauer-King as Cyclops (Scott Summers)
Connor Swindells as Beast (Hank McCoy)
Nick Robinson as Iceman (Bobby Drake)
Brandon Flynn as Angel (Warren Worthington III)
