Despite Wolverine rewriting the timeline in 1973, meaning only history post-1973 should have been changed, several alternate versions of characters already seen in the 2000s era have appeared in the revised prequel era films, despite the fact that they would have been born pre-1973 and therefore would not have been affected by the timeline rewrite. Since Deadpool & Wolverine uses the Earth-10005 for the revised timeline, which is the same designation used for the original timeline, thus indicating there was no branch timeline, this wiki treats most revised timeline characters born pre-1973 as also having been born in the original timeline, despite another version of the character, with the same name and powers, being born later on in the same timeline. |
