1980s

Deadpool & Wolverine uses the designation Earth-10005 for the revised timeline, which is the same designation used for the original timeline. As such, the wiki is currently operating on the basis that Wolverine overwrote the same timeline without creating a branch. Despite the overwrite, certain pages have been marked with "/Revised Timeline" to distinguish events that occurred pre-timeline rewrite with those that occurred post-rewrite.

• Ronald Reagan is sworn in as the President of the United States.

1984

• Popular televangelist Minister Bob Bell calls mutants "God's Curse".

February

1st

• Dell is founded.

1986

• Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr visit Jean Grey and her parents at their home to discuss Jean attending Xavier's School. While there, they discover she's much more powerful than expected.

• Naya Waters is founded.

April

26th

• Chernobyl disaster causes many babies born to develop mutations.
• Peter Rasputin, later known as Colossus, is born.

1987

November

17th

• Liberty Linehaul Inc. is formed.

1988

• Mutants protest at the Berlin Wall in West Germany, and East Germany is made into a mutant zone.

1989

• Trask Industries and the Federal Bureau of Investigation unveil a way to identify mutants using DNA from crime scenes. Trask Industries, off the record, uses the DNA to build Mutant Registry, with plans to sell the information to wealthy world governments.
