Is Storm evil by choice or controlled in X-Men: Apocalypse?
How huge of a coward is he? I get he is the first mutant and all. But shouldn't he be humble or something. But no, he goes like I am a god.
Don't forget that he's from a time where the study of biology and all other forms of science didn't exist. So he was viewed as something more or less than human because of his powers. This is explained in the second disc of Rogue Cut. And like anyone viewed as a deity, what does Apocalypse want? What does he feel he's responsible for? Also, the survival of the fittest philosophy is a part of his character; only the strongest, smartest and most adaptable will survive while the weak will perish. That's his belief, his philosophy from before he could remember, as it was his adopted father's philosophy.
Also, I wouldn't say that Apocalypse is the first mutant; he's actually the first mutant known, meaning that there could be others out there older than him, but have been hidden from historical and societal views, maybe viewed as fairy tales or ancient myths, different from Apocalypse. Maybe his mother, father or both were mutants and abandoned him because they couldn't bear the thought of raising him with any hope of a normal life.

And someone should tell him that! :D
Are the power upgrades temporary or permanent. If Apocalypse gave them, but if he is destroyed or banish or incapable. Does those upgrades disappear?
It's likely temporary. You give someone power, something happens to you, they lose the power.
You can also follow X-Men Evolution's last two episodes. When Apocalypse was defeated, Storm, Prof. X, Magneto and Mystique all lost their enhanced powers.
