The Chase of Ajax was a three-year manhunt carried out by Deadpool. However, he frequently referred to his quarry as "Francis", forgetting in his hubris that no one knew Ajax's real name when he demanded for his whereabouts. Deadpool killed seventeen men during the montage. and 32 more bringing it up to 49.
Where's Francis?[]
Deadpool kept note of all of Francis's men and dedicated a wall of his room to his killing spree. With advice from Blind Al, Deadpool crafts a suit which he upgrades after killing goons. He encounters the first few goons in an abandoned store. He kills the first man smacking his head repeatedly into a machine and kills the next guy with a wooden pole. The last man shoots Deadpool five times. Deadpool turns towards him and asks for Francis's whereabouts. The man tries to run away, but Deadpool manages to nail him. Deadpool finds the next man at boxing arena. The man pulls a gun on him, but Deadpool stabs the man's hand with a sword but not after using the man's gun scare away the surrounding crowd. Deadpool tells the man not to make him ask "Where's Francis?" twice. The man does, and Wade kills him. Deadpool wonders whether or not the mask is muffling his voice (it is). Deadpool kills the next few men near a stairwell. He kills another man in a worker's room by slamming a door into the man's head several times, effectively breaking the man's neck and there fore, ending his life. Deadpool also kills a bunch of thugs in a hallway. He kills a man with a Zamboni but not before asking him where Francis currently was. He also kills one Francis's henchladies. He corners another on the toilet and ends up killing him. Deadpool corners the Recruiter and after killing the bodyguards, he gives chase. He body slams the man into a car. Wade reveals himself by telling the man that the number of the men that he has was 41, 89 and about to be 90. The Recruiter tells Wade where Francis is, but Deadpool turns away the camera and not after killing the man.
