Decibel (born Jonothon Evan Starsmore) is a mutant and a former test subject of the Weapon X program.

Three Mile Island Incident[]
Decibel was one of the mutants escaping Three Mile Island led by Cyclops and Emma. As long as he was captured by Weapon X, they put on him a mouth mask to prevent him from using his mutant powers.
