Henry Guyrich was born in 1974 and is one of the few people who were aware of Project WideAwake and represent Senator Kelly's political party by supporting the Mutant Registration Act with former military scientist, Dr. Bolivar Trask. He would also work in the military although his exact position is unknown as he would still serve by the time of his death.
He was killed by Sabretooth while Mystique took his appearance to approach Kelly, as the latter was to be mutated by Magneto's radiation machine as an example towards human society. His body was later found and reported on the news, claiming that he died from a bear attack.

- In the comics, Henry Peter Gyrich is an agent of the NSA in charge of controlling the Avengers. He is also an enemy of the mutant community, being the one behind Bastion's "Operation: Zero Tolerance".
