Post-credits Scenes are a recurring staple in the feature films of the X-men films, where a clip is shown during and/or after the ending credits. The clip usually foreshadows future films, resolves a plotline from the film.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine William stryker In a mid-credits scene, a weary Stryker is being detained for questioning by some MPs in connection to the death of his superior, General Munson (whom Stryker did in fact kill earlier after Munson's declaration of his intent to shut down the former's project).
Deadpool-e1347992903698 Deadpool's arm slowly pulls its implanted blade back inside his body, then it moves further, in search. Deadpool's head is seen, mouth no longer sealed, opening his eyes and whispering a short "Shh", revealing that he is still alive.
Wolverine is at a bar in Japan drinking shots of whiskey. After asking for another shot, the Japanese bartender asks him if he is American. Wolverine responds, “Canadian… I think.” She then asks if he’s drinking to forget and he replies, “No. I’m drinking to remember.”

X-Men: Days of Future Past Apocalypse In Egypt, a crowd chants to En Sabah Nur, who is using telekinesis to build pyramids as four horsemen watch from nearby.
