New York is a U.S. state located in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States. New York is the 27th largest, the 3rd most populous, and the 7th most densely populated of the 50 United States. The state's capital is Albany.

After rescuing Wolverine and Rogue from Sabretooth, Cyclops and Storm bring them to the X-Mansion, situated in Westchester, Salem Center.
In an effort to transform the world's most powerful leaders into mutants, Magneto, Mystique, Toad and Sabretooth, along with a kidnapped Rogue, headed to Ellis Island in New York. The X-Men went to the Statue of Liberty, where Magneto's device was situated, in order to stop him.

After Shadowcat manages to send Wolverine's consciousness back to January 1973, Logan wakes up in New York City. He later drives to the X-Mansion to enlist the help of Professor X, and encounters Beast as well. During his time travelling trip, Logan stays at the mansion along with Beast and the Professor.
X-Men: Apocalypse[]
The X-Mansion is situated in New York.
New York City is one of the many locations to be nearly destroyed when Magneto, under the orders of Apocalypse, manipulates the Earth's magnetic poles so that all the "weak" (whether human or mutant) can be eliminated. Fortunately, Mystique and Quicksilver manage to change his mind, and Magneto halts the destruction.
Deadpool[]
Wade Wilson lives in New York, living at Sister's Margaret's, a home for mercenaries. Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead also live at the X-Mansion in New York. Deadpool later visits the mansion in order to enlist their help to defeat Ajax and Angel Dust and to free his girlfriend Vanessa Carlysle.
