Vanisher is a recruit to Deadpool's X-Force team. During the interview stage, both Deadpool and Weasel liked his invisibility ability although they could not tell if he was actually still in the room with them. Vanisher joined the rest of X-Force on the plane, ready to parachute onto a prison convoy to rescue the young mutant Russell Collins from Cable. They parachuted out of the plane despite warnings that the high winds would affect the drop. Nearly all of the members of X-Force, except Deadpool and Domino, died in the parachute drop. Vanisher hit power lines and was electrocuted, briefly revealing his appearance before he died.[1]

Deadpool and Weasel even wondered whether he was even in the same room with them when they were recruiting for the X-Force.
