Warpath (James Proudstar) is a Apache mutant who possesses superhuman strength, enhanced senses, speed and the ability to fly.

Biography

X-Men: Days of Future Past

In a dystopic Moscow, set in 2023, Warpath and Blink are whisked through a portal to a vast bomb shelter under the Kremlin. Shelves are full of food, the floor full of bunks, all inhabited by a band of mutant refugees and there's a shrine to fallen mutants in a distant corner. Thanks to Warpath's enhanced senses, he is able to detect the incoming of Sentinels, which are dispatched to seek and destroy any mutant survivor. He advises the team, which consists of himself, Blink, Colossus, Iceman, Sunspot, Bishop and Shadowcat. As Shadowcat makes herself and Bishop intangible, both of them run off into a closet somewhere, while the others attack the Sentinels. Bishop lays down and Kitty starts massaging his temples, sending his consciousness back in time so he can alert the others of the impending attack. As Bishop's consciousness is sent back in time, Warpath and the rest of the team are assassinated.

However, they all survive thanks to Bishop's advice, and they run into a monastery somewhere in China. They are soon found via-Cerebro by Professor X, who arrives in the X-Jet, along with Wolverine, Storm and Magneto. When the decision is made to send Wolverine's consciousness back to 1973 to prevent Mystique from assassinating Bolivar Trask (which caused the creation of the Sentinels) in order to end the war between mutants and Sentinels before it ever began, Warpath and the rest of the team stay alert in the case of a Sentinel attack. Thanks again to his acute senses, Warpath detects the arrival of a huge Sentinel army. They are nearly all destroyed thanks to Magneto and Storm's powers, but some survive and Warpath sacrifices his life in order to prevent this dystopia.
